2.5×4′ wool, paper mache, jute, and paint
16 nice white boxes. Gamblin traditional gesso. Peg wall so I can move it all around as needed.
Needle felting the loose wool to tightly felted wool on both sides of the hole in the panels…
First coat of raw umber on there and the wool glued to felt in the holes… getting closer to something I see this installation becoming but still not really sure what’s going on yet.

I’m pleased with what this little guy is and can’t wait to make him bigger and more complex.
Working hard to start making these into fully developed paintings and sculptures… sometimes its slow going. While I have picked up the techniques quickly, they are still time and material consuming. All work in progress.
